Alternative to Maldives that allows cross christian necklaces AND is relatively close to Armenia?

A lot of alternatives are like 20+ hour flights from Armenia, sadly our geographical position is bad… Maldives is the only close one with a direct flight, but we are both christian and the customs confiscate all christian symbols upon arrival… what other places do you guys recommend that feel like carribean islands with the overwater bungalows?
