Any suggestions?

Hi there,

My spouse and I are looking for recommendations/suggestions for our honeymoon trip. We have been working hard to save up $ for it. Our budget is around $3,000 USD for the stay itself. (We have lots of travel points, thankfully, so not too incredibly worried about flights)

We are hoping for 4-5 days.

These are some of the key things we are looking for (realizing that we may need to compromise some)

-A resort or hotel with spa services (we never get to feel taken care of or like we can just relax so this would be amazing) -Beautiful nearby landscape with opportunity for hiking or walking -nearby animal shelter, wildlife reserve, rehab center, or somewhere we can volunteer or hang with animals (we met while volunteering and it’s a huge part of our relationship, and I am an animal care worker and we include animals in lots of parts of our relationship) we would even be up for a trash pick-up or volunteering at a nursing home, etc. -Somewhere to go shopping! 🛍️ we love to window shop and check out the action of a new city -not too cold 🥶 -we are torn between mountains and beaches – we have lived on a beach and in the mountains and love both. The mountains certainly call us more, but for a special occasion we thought perhaps a beach or something like that would be nice

We are looking to take our honeymoon in late February or March of 2025. If I think of anything else I will let you know.

*we are open to traveling inside the US or abroad – not to Alaska or Idaho or Texas or New Jersey as we have lived at all of those places and we want something new!
