Any thoughts on when Japan might open back up?

My boyfriend and I will get married in about two year’s time. We plan to do a two-week honeymoon: Hawaii and Japan, one week each.

I am hoping Japan opens up by then! The reason I even ask is that back in 2020 I would have guessed places would have opened in two years, but looks like not.
