Barbados in May 2023 – what are the best resorts?

FH & I are looking to take a week-ish long honeymoon to Barbados in May of 2023. We want something relaxing, romantic, and beachy. We're also really into rum, so we're super excited at the thought of going to the Mt. Gay + Foursquare tasting rooms + tours.

While doing our research, we've come across a couple of resorts (Sandals, Sugar Bay, Bougainvillea). While we've heard that Sandals is usually the best for honeymoons, some of the reviews suggest that Sugar Bay or Bougainvillea might be a little nicer. We're open to all-inclusive but it's not a must. We're curious what others have experiences or researched? Any suggestions for the area?
