Beach Honeymoon Location/Resort Advice

My fiancée and I will be going on our honeymoon in late September. Due to work obligations, we’ll likely only go for 7 nights. Considering that, we are focusing on relatively close beach destinations (Mexico, Caribbean, etc.). We’ll be flying out of Austin, TX.

• We’d like to keep the total under $15K.

• We aren’t big on excursions, and want to relax during the day mostly.

• We want a resort with nighttime shows/entertainment. We don’t necessarily want to socialize, but we like post-dinner activities.

• We’d like a resort that has a very nice honeymoon suites, ideally with a private hot tub/pool.

• Also a place less likely to be affected by hurricane season, if that’s a thing.

St. Lucia (Jade Mountain) looks amazing but we’re concerned about the lack of entertainment outside the suite.

Le Blanc Los Cabos looks great although we’ve done Cabo before & the suits seem underwhelming.

Sandals’ overwater bungalows are ideal (Saint Vincent & South Coast), but they’re like $24K…
