Hi everyone!
My fiancé and I are getting married in July 2026 in Michigan, and we’re starting to plan our honeymoon. We’re looking for something relaxing — think: breakfast, beach, lunch, pool, dinner, repeat. Ideally, we’d like to go for about one week.
The tricky part is that everything we’ve found so far seems unbearably hot in July. We’d love some fresh ideas from the Reddit hive mind!
We’re looking for:
- Destinations with reasonable flight paths from the Midwest
- Potentially avoiding Europe as we're looking to save that for a two week vacation in the future
- Comfortable beach weather in July (IDK what we would consider extreme heat!)
- All-inclusive resorts or nice hotels with several dining options and beach/waterfront vibes
