Best spot for a SEA December honeymoon?

We’re eloping where I live in South Korea & then planning on a honeymoon afterwards. The only places we’re considering are:

• Indonesia
• Laos
• Cambodia

Bali does seem to be the “dream” honeymoon spot, but I’m worried about wet season in Indonesia. Though I have read December rains heavy for a quick bit of the day and then you have the rest of the day to explore/be outside?

We’re also inclined to Vientiane in Laos & Phnom Penh in Cambodia. Albeit they may not be the best cities to explore but they do have direct flights, which my partner prefers. Thoughts on those cities or would it be so much more worthwhile to visit a different part of these countries instead of Bali?
