Hi.
Myself and my fiancee, both from the UK, are toying with the idea of a West Coast Honeymoon. We have a British Airways Amex card currently collecting points for a free companion ticket. The flights, direct, go to and from Vegas and San Francisco. I've come up with an itinerary but need a bit of help/some suggestions. This is March/April 2020.
My fiancee wants at least a couple of days to be 'luxurious' in some way, whether that's a ridiculous spa for a day or an equally ridiculous hotel suite for a couple of nights. From my research, I've ascertained Vegas is where I shouldn't do that. There's so much to do and the prices can get silly quickly. So here's our itinerary, I'd welcome any suggestions I can get.
Vegas – 4 nights (3 full days)
Palm Springs – 2 nights
LA – 4 nights
Monterey – 2 nights (whale watching and visit Carmel)
Napa Valley – 2 nights
San Francisco – 4 nights
Budget-wise, 5-7k for the whole thing, flights should be £700 in total, accommodation at the moment is coming out at £3k. The only thing we've booked is the Vegas Hotel via booking.Com and that's free cancellation. Open to Airbnb etc.
Thanks in advance
