Canary Islands in spring/summer

Hi everyone! My husband and I have got married last month. We were initially thinking about going to Cancun to an all inclusive resort but minimum £1500pp seems to be a bit out of the budget for us at the moment. Instead of compromising on the hotel, we decided to go to somewhere closer, such as Canary Islands and spend less, hopefully £900pp. However we are confused by all the choices! We have been looking at TUI’s website and the decision fatigue is real. If you have ever been to the islands, which resorts did you stay at? Also which month do you recommend for a warm, nice weather. We are fine with the heat and we actually prefer warm weather. We had a difficult year and we really need to treat ourselves. Thank you!
