Caribbean Weather in July/Aug

My fiance and I really want to go to either St Barths or the BVIs (specifically the Rosewood at Little Dix Bay) for our honeymoon that we're aiming to take later this summer 2025, but I'm getting cold feet about hurricane season. Anyone have experience with traveling to St Barths or the BVIs during hurricane season?

Is it the type of trip you book and pray that a storm doesn't come? Or is it a "don't bother with the stress and just go to Europe instead" type of situation? I'd love some insight on the weather in the Caribbean this time of year, TIA!!
