Changing cheapcaribbean return flight location

Hello, I’m planning a trip to Punta Cana and plan on booking through cheapcaribbean. Only issue is, I’m trying to fly there from PHL and return to FLL. There are spirit flights available, I’m thinking of booking and then when I get my flight information to try and change it through spirit. Has anyone ever attempted this? Thanks
