Costa Rica Honeymoon

Hi everyone! My fiancé and I are getting married this summer, but due to scheduling conflicts, we won’t be taking our honeymoon until December this year. We have thought about a couple of different places for our honeymoon destination, but have recently considered Costa Rica. We are both young and love adventure and wildlife. I am just wondering if anyone has any insight on where to stay on the island. We are planning to stay for a week, either 6 or 7 nights and looking for activities that would involve hiking, seeing wildlife, zip-lining, as well as a couple of days at the beach. We are looking for budget friendly options so I am leaning more towards Air BnBs. Additionally, what is the average cost of a honeymoon in Costa Rica (airfare, lodging, food, activities, etc)? I tried to google it and look at previous Reddit threads, but couldn’t find an answer for the average budget. Last question to those who have been to Costa Rica, do you recommend renting a vehicle or traveling by public transit? Any advice is welcome! Thanks!
