Destination advice needed

My fiancée and I married at the weekend and have been gifted £5000 to go on a honeymoon by our family. We are able to stretch this budget a little if needed to We are looking to go away at the end of October for around 11 days as it fits with our jobs. We are at a complete loss on where to start in terms of destinations. We know we would like a resort based all-inclusive. However we would also like to visit somewhere that offers excursions in terms of visiting historical sites,markets, etc. or beach activities We would be flying from the UK but are happy to take long haul flights
