Destination Help

Hello! My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for August 2025. We are in a very privileged position where we can't decide where to go and so, looking for some insight! We are travelling from Scotland and have around two weeks off. We were originally deciding between South Africa and French Polynesia. We have previously travelled to places such as Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica etc so I feel South Africa may be a holiday we could do a different year (and slightly worried about the danger aspect of SA). We think French Polynesia would have more of a "honeymoon" feel to it but I'm starting to think we might get a bit "bored" being by a beach all the time. On a holiday, we like to do activities and love being around mountains and wildlife. We love to drink wine and go to local restaurants (we’re vegetarian). We like to do things that are quite adventurous and I love being near the water. I think FP would be good to force us to relax but we would need to keep busy majority of the time. Anyone been to either or both destinations that could give some insight? Or any other suggestions that might tick some boxes?
