SO and I are getting married July 12th. We are looking to go somewhere after then, and coming back before August 1.
Looking for 10 – 14 days total. Estimated budget of $10K CAD. Neither of which are probably 'enough' for Africa, New zealand, etc…
Where we are from: Western Canada (Alberta).
What are we looking for: A bit of city, a bit of relaxation, nice beaches and sights, not crazy hot or busy, ability to do a bit of outdoor stuff.
We've been to Iceland and France (Alsace and Paris) in recent years, and loved both.
Other consideration: I am allergic to peanuts and shellfish, so it does make SE Asia a lot harder.
Some ideas so far.
- Spain: could do half in Catalonia, and some in Majorca. I'm worried about crowds and heat
- Portugal: this could be very nice, I am sure the Azores could be amazing for the beach part.
- SE Asia could be amazing, but again, the food allergy thing
- Haven't thought too much about LatAm
