Dominican Republic vs Cozumel vs Cancún

So my fiancé and I are looking to go on our honeymoon the last week of October, but we don’t know where to go! Neither of us have traveled internationally before, so we have no idea what to expect. We can’t really decide which place seems like the best option for us, and then on top of that the hundreds of all inclusive resorts. I think we’re leaning towards Punta Cana, and the resorts that have caught our eyes are Paradisus Palma Real and Majestic Elegance We’re in our mid 20s, and are looking to spend less than $3,000 for a week, including the all inclusive resort and airfare. Here are some things we’re looking for: -Ocean front -Great food and drinks, ideally with lots of options -Big or lots of pools -Updated rooms -Lots of entertainment such as shows, fun little classes, definitely music, maybe games -Nearby excursions

We’ve been looking on Expedia.. is that a good route to go? I don’t really know how else to book a vacation like this!
