DWHSA? You should know they exist.

Hello. Full Disclosure – I am a travel planner (not a travel agent – there is a huge difference), but not a member of the DWHSA. I only know about them because of the work that I do.

With that said, "DWHSA" stands for "Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist Association." Travel Professionals who wish to specialize in Honeymoons and Destination Weddings can pay to be members and receive specialized education/training.

Once graduated, members will receive a "badge" that they can place on their website letting the public know that they are members and have the training necessary to provide the service their clients are looking for.

While you are doing your research, look for that badge, or ask the agent if they are a member.

Again, I am NOT a member. However, I did want to make you aware that the organization exists so you can pick a professional who will meet your needs.

Have a wonderful rest of your day. 🙂
