February 2023 Caribbean Honeymoon

Hi! My fiance and I are beginning to plan our honeymoon for February 2023. We are a little torn between St. Lucia and Aruba (I originally wanted St. Lucia but some family members have recommended Aruba). Budget is around $6-7,000 for 5-6 nights. There are a few resorts in each location that we're interested in (St. Lucia: Ti Kaye and Anse Chastanet) (Aruba: Boardwalk Boutique Hotel, Renaissance Wind Creek, Aruba Ocean Villas). Our priority is relaxation, but we'd enjoy a few excursions (snorkeling, leisurely hike, sightseeing, massages) and we enjoy good food and wine. I would prefer something less commerical than Sandals, Secrets, etc. I would love to hear anyone's experiences in these locations/resorts! We are talking with a travel agent, but I feel I need to narrow down the location. Thanks for any and all feedback!
