We need some help!! We’ve been so back and forth on ideas. First we were settled on Austria/Lake Como (mix of adventure and relaxation). Then I started budgeting and thought we might be able to take our money a little further by staying in the US and driving up along the west coast (we’re from the Midwest and are dying to get out – we’re very adventurous and get bored pretty easily). But then after joining this sub and hearing the perspective of needing R&R after the stress of wedding week, I’ve started to look at everyone’s apparent favorite (St. Lucia). Ladera looks stunning but it looks like it’s a little out of our price range (I think our budget will be around $6-8k, including flights). I’m also not fully in love with the idea of a tropical/beach honeymoon. Like I mentioned, we get bored pretty easily, and we really like to have a lot of cultural & nature-based experiences while traveling. We are truly up for anything, we’re just so torn about what will be right for us!! Any help would be appreciated!
ETA: we’re thinking 10-12 days in late June!
