France or Italy??

So we have been to Europe a handful of times…a good number on countries. We went to a few cities in Italy previously (Venice, Rome, Positano, Capri) LOVED the Amalfi coast but we weren’t fans of the big cities very much. Also have been to Paris.

We typically go to Europe for two weeks and do a few countries in one visit, so it’s always a trip filled with lots of trains and planes and tons of adventure and not much relaxing. Which is fun but we decided we don’t want that for our honeymoon. So after a lot of discussion we decided Nice/ south of France would be perfect or Lake Como in Italy. Another strong contender (but involves more action and exercise) is the Dolomites in Italy. I’m wondering if we could potentially make that a relaxing destination though.
