Having to do a Domestic UK Honeymoon – Ideas for a Journey that doesn’t Break the Bank?

I know mid-late June is still some way off, but I don't wanna be booking intl. flights right now and we've both got the 2 weeks off so might as well use them!

I've been thinking south coast / Cornwall side, maybe journey up to Peak/Lake District, maybe all the way to Edinburgh – or maybe just do a Scotland tour? Ashamedly, I haven't explored much of the UK, so this might be a nice opportunity. I'm also keen to stay at nice hotels, but obviously the £ doesn't go as far in England than it does in SE Asia! I don't know what to do about this one tbh.

Anyway, will be very grateful for advice!
