Hawaii or Bahamas?

My fiancé and I are getting married July 2023. We really wanted to do our honeymoon in either the Bahamas or in Hawaii and we have no idea which we’d enjoy more. We’ve never been to either place. We both love the beach but are also adventurous people. My concern with Hawaii is the flight time is around 11-12 hours there and back where as the Bahamas is around 6. I’ve never been on a plane and it worries me to go there with how long the flight is. My concern with the Bahamas is we will get bored or there isn’t much to do compared to Hawaii. If anybody has been to either the Bahamas or Hawaii or both please share your experience.
