Planning a 7 day honeymoon in April or May and having a hard time deciding on a location. We are thinking Hawaii, but don't know if that is a trip we should save for another time. We'd like the honeymoon to be luxurious, romantic, and relaxing with some activities like paddleboarding. A private pool or the like is highly desired.
We're not sure about the typical all-inclusive options and locations like Mexico and the Caribbean. We also don't want to have super long travel from CO. We've thought about beachy spots in Greece, Italy, or south of France, but the time frame may not work. Another thing to note is that we've lived in FL and feel like typical tropical vacations may not seem that unique?
We will be using a combo of cash and points. Cash budget is $5-6k with flights.
Should we just do Hawaii or would it make more sense to look somewhere else? Any suggestions? Thanks!
