help! italy or hawaii for june 2026 honeymoon?

i know there are post similar to this here & there, but nothing that helped in my decision making 🙁

my fiance & i are deciding between hawaii (maui & oahu) or italy (tuscany / puglia / amalfi) for our ~2 week honeymoon in june 2026. we are looking for a super luxurious experience with time for relaxation, but also opportunity to explore.

thing is, we've been to hawaii 3 times. we actually got engaged there. it's our favorite place on earth (we've been to all islands aside from oahu, which we'd plan to visit on the honeymoon). as for italy, we have both spent 5 months in europe a few years back, but never visited italy.

we definitely want beach & smaller town vibes, luxury resort, amazing food, and good exploring (like white lotus seasons 1 & 2) 🙂

has anyone here been to both locations and have some input? i think we're i'm hesitating is since we've been to hawaii, it'll be easy and a safe bet, whereas italy will be more "difficult", but we've also never been to italy and we're very intrigued.
