Help us decide where to honeymoon

My fiancé and I are trying to decide on a honeymoon destination for after our wedding in the summer. It’s coming up quickly so we need to hurry up and decide. We’re mostly just been two options now (but also open to others), and are hoping to hear opinions from others on which might make for a better honeymoon! The two places we’ve been most focused on are:

  1. Stanford Inn in Mendocino, CA – this option would also involve a mini road trip down the CA coast and stopping in the Redwood National Park (my fiancé is a big national parks fan, and we’d spend a night at a hotel in the area as the halfway point, then arrive at the Stanford Inn the next day). This would also involve a smaller mini road trip once we leave, since it’s 3 hours away from the nearest major airport.

  2. A hotel/suite at Rocky Mountain National Park. The park looks really pretty, and the suite we would stay at looks nice, even having a jacuzzi tub in the room.

The first option definitely involves more driving. We enjoy road trips, but to an extent. The major pro for the first option is that their food is entirely plant-based, and we’re both vegan so it would be so nice to have genuinely good food options available to us everyday! They also have yoga classes and cooking classes (both things we like), and the hotel is located right on the beach. The second option would be more picturesque, and not too much driving is required since it’s not that far from the Denver airport. We even thought of a third option which would be staying at a nice hotel in Denver, exploring the city (we’ve never been), and driving to the national park a couple times too.

Any thoughts? We want to incorporate both exploring and relaxing into our honeymoon, but if I had to choose one then I would prefer it to be more relaxing. Also should mention that we only have 6 days for our honeymoon.
