Hi everyone!
My fiancé and I are planning to go to Bali for our 1-month honeymoon (April 2–30). He will have to work remotely for about half the trip, so we’re planning to stay in two different areas:
- 2 weeks: a quiet, relaxing area with great Wi-Fi and a nice atmosphere for working
- 2 weeks: a more active area with lots to do and see, ideally still with great wifi (waterfalls, temples, beaches, etc.)
Our total budget is around $8K max, and we’re trying to balance comfort, experience, and good value.
We were thinking:
- Uluwatu → for the relaxed, scenic, work-friendly portion (with a possible day trip to one of the Nusa Islands)
- Ubud → for the adventure/activities portion
We’d love to make sure at least one of the areas has beautiful beaches.
We’re not partiers, so we’d like to avoid areas known mainly for nightlife.
Would love your input on:
- Whether Uluwatu + Ubud is the best combo or if you’d suggest other areas. Heard great things about Lombok too?
- Resort vs. Airbnb/villa recommendations for honeymoon vibes (with a private pool and strong Wi-Fi)
- Specific places you’ve stayed that you’d recommend
Thanks in advance. Any tips or insights are super appreciated!
