Honeymoon Cruise March-April 2025

I am trying to plan a cruise for my fiancé and I and are having some trouble deciding which cruise to pick as this will be our first cruise for the both of us. I have been looking at the following cruises as some potential options and can list their itineraries if anyone has traveled on these exacts cruises and can give some insight Id appreciate it as there are so many pros and cons that I have with each one. I've figured that all cruises are roughly the same price either way but am just wondering what would present the best experience based on our interests and what I would expect from the cruise tours ive watched on Youtube. If there is something listed here that you think we would like that I did not list myself then feel free to create a chat about it !

Here are some of the core themes that I would love to see on the cruises including the ports that we stop at that I believe are the most important to me.

  • Great food options to experience buffet style as well as restaurants in comparison to one another
  • Not a fan of musicals / Broadway shows but looking for the best aqua / acrobatic performances as well as comedians / ideas like deal or no deal seen on Virgin Voyages
  • Fun activities to do (excited about zipline on cruise, water slides, surf, go karts etc if someone has an experience with one that is better then another)
  • The best drink package, id rather not worry about the cost of the drinks and go with whatever would give the most freedom
  • The best beach spots / activities to do when at port at these locations
  • Difficulty of getting to the departure location / heard / read some horror stories of departure
  • Cruise that contains the least amount of kids & least amount of 60+ (a good in between of young adults)

Here are the cruises that we are looking at (again all prices were about the same for all four cruises):

Oasis of the Seas (Bahamas) 6 NIGHTS

  • Fort Lauderdale
  • CocoCay Bahamas
  • Falmouth Jamaica
  • Labadee Haiti
PROS CONS
Most Amount Of Available Amenities Aboard Far More Kids / Family Oriented Cruise of the 3
Royal Up Option Less Party / Nightclub Scene then Utopia
6 Nights / Cheapest in Comparison

Utopia of the Seas (Bahamas) 4 NIGHTS

  • Port Canaveral
  • Nassau Bahamas
  • CocoBay Bahamas
PROS CONS
More Young Adult Scene (College Night Parties) Only 4 Nights
Nearly all Aboard Amentias of Oasis Less Destinations / Locations Visited
More Bars / Food Options / Newer & Larger Ship Still More Kids Then NCL (What I've Read)

Norwegian Bliss (Mexico) 7 NIGHTS

  • Los Angeles
  • Cabo San Lucas Mexico
  • Mazatalan Mexico
  • Puerto Vallarta Mexico
PROS CONS
More Exciting Amenities (Go-Kart, Drop Slide) Prefer Bahamas / Caribbean As We've Never Been
Most Amount of Nights (7 Nights) Less Amenities Options (May Get Bored Fast)
The Glow Party (Cool Lightning Setup) Support Horror Stories / Boarding Issues
Seems To Have Similar Parties / NightClub Scene

Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady (Caribbean) 6 NIGHT

  • Miami Florida
  • Costa Maya Mexico
  • Roatan Honduras
  • Bimini Bahamas
Pros Cons
Cool Shows (Deal Or No Deal, etc) Most Expensive Relatively
Clear Pricing / No Hidden Fee / Gratuity in Ticket No Drink Package & Limited Drink Usage Prior To Cruise
No Kids & More Intimate Cruise Line Options Virtually No Amenities Outside Food / Drinks
Somewhat Introverted People
