We are thinking of going on our honeymoon the 4th of July week to maximize vacation days since we don't have a lot and will be flying out of the Washington, DC area. We can do about 9 days total including our travel days and want to go international. Any suggestions on where to go? We love the idea of Spain but would also love to go to other places nearby, like Portugal, Morroco or Croatia.
Ideally, wherever we go has a good mix of culture/history and relaxation. Food is also very important to us.
What is feasible and are there online tools to help plan itineraries other than googling other people's itineraries?
