Honeymoon destination recommendations?

My wife and I got married a week ago and we’re having trouble picking a place. So far we’ve been floating the idea of Hawaii (Maui or kauai), Thailand, or Bali. For Hawaii, we’ve seen this come up online a lot but some close friends have said it was very expensive, overcrowded, and generally overrated. We’ve looked at Costco travel already and it seems pretty pricey? Not sure where the value is coming from. A similar package on Expedia is about $1000 less. If we were to go to a SEA country, we’d be looking at a 20+ hour flight time, which sounds very gross.

I think we’re just looking to relax, sightsee, and eat good food. We’re somewhat adventurous. Something like snorkeling would be something we’d be open to and never tried (although I’m deathly afraid of sharks). We’re also not very into drinking.

We’d also be open to places in the US. We’ve brought up Yellowstone, California, and New York. Would love some input!
