Getting married in October this year and stumped on Honeymoon options.
I could do up to 16 days (mid/late Oct & early Nov), up to 18 days if timing vacation around Thanksgiving break (Nov 13th-30th), or up to 30 days if timing around Winter break (Dec 6th-Jan 4th).
We love snowshoeing, hiking, camping, relaxing/spas, history, art, music, exploring, food, coffee, and on rare occasions beer and cider.
Open to roadtripping and flying out of MSP. We've considered focusing on one location/state/country as well as multiple destinations.
Original Wishlist -Colorado and other mountain states -Disney World (where we got engaged) -Canada (Banff area, but open to other suggestions) -Germany (We've been learning Deutsch)
Additional Wishlist -New Orleans -Italy (Sicily, Amalfi coast, open to suggestions) -Ireland -Croatia -Austria -Netherlands -Norway, Sweden, Finland
We may end up snowshoeing out in the Rockies during last two weeks of the year anyways either solo or with our group if weather cooperates. We haven't been in years due to weather and scheduling conflicts.
So I guess what I'm asking is; what month and time length would you go for and where?
