Honeymoon help for January 2024 – st Lucia or where tropical?

We are lost with ideas of where togo! Leaning towards an all inclusive in a country with nice excursions. Been to Costa Rica and loved it- not all inclusive. Don’t really want Jamaica, Dominican or Mexico) Thinking on st Lucia but it’s so expensive. Budget around 8000 Canadian or do we do boutique hotels in st Lucia but how did you travel around? Looking for any other country accommodation or resort ideas! We want to relax but also don’t want something super quiet and boring. Age 33.
