Honeymoon Help – Venice → Dolomites → Lake Como → Milan → Sweden?

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon for July 3-18, 2026 and I want to absolutely blow her mind with this trip. she plans everything and I am not always the best so really want to wow her!

What We Have Booked:

  • Forestis Dolomites: July 4-8 (already confirmed)
  • Budget: ~$25k
  • Vibe: Mix of romantic luxury + active adventures – we love poolside relaxation but also hiking, boat trips, amazing food

Current Rough Plan:

  • July 3-4: Venice (1 night) – NEED HOTEL REC / Day Activity
  • July 4-8: Dolomites (Forestis) – confirmed
  • July 8-12: Lake Como (Il Sereno) – 4 nights – Activity / food Recs
  • July 12-13: Milan (1 night) – NEED HOTEL REC / Day Activity
  • July 13-17: Sweden (visit family + exploring) – Recs on a 3 day itinerary and good home base hotel

Questions I'm Hoping for some help with:

  1. Venice hotel recommendations? Romantic but not overly touristy. What's the one thing we absolutely can't miss in 24 hours?
  2. Best route logistics: Venice → Dolomites → Lake Como → Milan → Stockholm flights?
  3. Milan recommendations: Where to stay for 1 night? Must-do dinner spot? should we stay more than 1 day?
  4. Sweden connection: Does flying Milan → Stockholm make most sense? Or should we end somewhere else in Italy? any must do's?
  5. Journey flow: Does this routing make logistical sense or are we backtracking too much?

Our Style:

  • Love private pool/spa time but also want 1-2 active adventures
  • Foodies – will splurge on incredible meals
  • Prefer intimate experiences over crowded tourist spots
  • Happy to drive scenic routes or take trains

Ideal Answer:

Someone who can tell us if this flow makes sense logistically and give specific recs for Venice hotel, Milan experiences, and whether our Sweden connection is smart.

Any Italy experts or couples who've done multi-country honeymoons – would love any help i can get!
