My fiancé and I are getting married 10/26 and are having a hard time deciding on a honeymoon. We have to stay within the US or its territories due to my fiancé needing to access his work servers. We are looking for something that we can relax on a beach but have activities close by because I don't enjoy doing nothing for long periods of time. We want to go for about a week and the budget is around 6k including flights, we live near Chicago so typically we can get reasonably priced flights.
Bonus points if there's anything fun to do for Halloween as we will most likely be on our honeymoon over Halloween!
