Honeymoon in Argentina/ other ideas

Hey guys, a two part honeymoon question!

Me and my partner both live in the UK and are hoping to honeymoon in January 2024 to a hot (or mostly hot) destination – we have up to 3 weeks off work. We love hiking, good food, culture, wine and whilst we do love a beach we wouldn't want weeks of sunbathing. Based on this, our top choice is currently Argentina.

We would fly initially into Iguazu falls and then onto Buenos Aires (flight), El Calafate (flight), El Chalten (bus), Bariloche (flight), Mendoza (flight) and then either fly or bus to Santiago to catch the long haul flight home. However we are worried that this would feel like quite a lot of travel – aside from Iguazu, we would have 3-5 days in each destination but still worried it will feel a lot with it being mainly flights and factoring in airport time etc! Has anyone done similar? And how was it for so? We are open to cutting Iguazu out to cut down on a flight but everywhere else we would be quite keen to leave in but open to opinions!

Secondly – if we decide to give Argentina a miss because of this, does anyone have any other suggestions based on what we would like?

Obviously we don't expect to have all our boxes ticked but a hot destination with some adventure and good food would be ideal. We've been to South Africa before and loved it but that still feels quit V recent so would maybe prefer somewhere else.

Thank you in advance!
