Honeymoon in Las Vegas, looking to ‘upgrade’ suite at front desk

I'm staying at the Palazzo with my wife in May. We already have a really nice room reserved (Grand One Bedroom suite, 1280sq ft). The ONLY suites better are the top tier suites ie. penthouse, executive, and presidential. However, these suites don't even show a price online. Now in the past I've slipped $40 or so under my credit card and ID at check in and was upgraded to a nicer room/suite.Yet this would be the first time of already having such a nice room to begin with. I'm considering slipping a $100 instead. Do you think this would get me an upgrade to a 'top tier' suites or will it be too difficult as the price may be drastically different from all other suites. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
