My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon, and we’re feeling a bit confused about where to go. Scotland has always been my dream destination, but it’s a bit pricey. My fiancé is suggesting Bali, which is more affordable, but I’m not a huge fan of it. I’m looking for advice on which place would be better for a honeymoon, and also how I can make the trip to Scotland more budget-friendly.
My fiancé also prefers staying in nicer hotels, but the ones in Scotland seem quite expensive. Does anyone have suggestions for affordable, but good hotels (not apartments, though)?
Lastly, if we do decide on Scotland, which month would be better to visit—May or August?
Additionally, I’d love to have a Scotland itinerary that avoids too much back-and-forth travel. Any suggestions for a relaxing yet scenic route?
