Honeymoon locations in EU

Hello all! My fiance and I are planning our wedding, and we need to get around to planning our honeymoon, too! My practice is closing the last three weeks of August, so I’m unfortunately not flexible in terms of time. We’re unsure where to go that is within the EU and has nice beaches without being too sweltering. We love Crete and have been many times, but August is absolutely dreadful there. Any recommendations? We’d also be open to the Mexican west coast, but we’re avoiding the US for obvious reasons. Our budget is up to 7000€ for 7-10 days.

Edit: we are based in Berlin and have US and RO passports, so we don’t have to worry about visas.
