Honeymoon recommendations for U.S Virgin Islands

Hello, my fiancé and I are looking into honeymooning September 2024 after our wedding in august 2024. We are considering staying in the U.S . I’ve been Looking into the U.S. Virgin Islands and St. Thomas. We also are willing to go to Florida. We’ve been to Daytona beach , st Pete, and Clearwater beach/ Tampa area. Where else could we go in florida that has blue water and adult only resorts? I’ve been looking into Destin florida but want some recommendations on hotels/resorts. Anybody have experiences with traveling to the Virgin Islands? Is it a good honeymoon destination? Is it safe, how’s the food etc? We would like to keep our budget under $5,000. Thanks!
