Honeymoon Sept 2024-October 2024

Hello, we are getting married next august 2024 and plan to take 5-7 day trip somewhere after our wedding. We have our passports, but I think we want to go somewhere in the U.S after our wedding. We’ve been thinking Orlando florida or key west , but we know hurricane season is the time we would be going which is early September around Labor Day or mid September. We would like to keep our budget under $3500 if we are going to end up going to Orlando or key west. Would love some recommendations on places to stay in key west. Also, those who have been to universal Orlando studios for your “after wedding trip” would you say it was fun and worth it?” We plan on going out of the country in spring of 2025, but for now we are sticking with the U.S . If we were to leave the country for our honeymoon, what places would you recommend visiting? Our budget would then be $5,000 or under $6,000 max. We love to travel and explore. Any Recommendations don’t have to be in the carribean, but I would like to go there someday. Just worried about going during hurricane season. Did anyone do anywhere else for their honeymoon besides something tropical like london, Paris, spain?
