Honeymoon to Italy help!!

Hey everyone! We are planning to go to Italy for our honeymoon as I have never been to Europe and he hasn’t been to Italy. We plan to fly into and out of Rome because of the great deal we got on flights. Staying 10 nights in mid September. I want a relaxed honeymoon where we aren’t rushed from city to city and don’t really care to “see it all”. I plan to go back to Europe so I don’t feel the need to see everything. and I want my honeymoon to be a good mix of relaxing and site seeing.

I was thinking of landing in Rome and going to sorrento for a night or two & using it as a base to go to Capri and Pompeii. And then to positiano maybe for a night or 2, or somewhere else on the amalfi coast. Then back to Rome for our last days.

Could we fit in another city? Is there enough to do in postiano and sorrento to stay there that long?

I have no idea what I’m talking about so any tips would be appreciated on itinerary!!
