Hoping we have a decision – Coast of Spain?

Finally, last evening we committed to traveling to Spain for our honeymoon in June. We will be coming from NYC and looking to spend 7-8 days. However, we are looking to do mostly a beach/coastline vacation, not the cities, though we might do some if we fly in/out of Barcelone or Madrid.

Any insights into coastal Spain? Suggestions on things to do or where to stay? Will we need a car? I am going to ask ChatGPT and we may ultimately seek out a TA, but I want to hear firsthand experiences so I can narrow down our options before proceeding with a TA.
