Hotel recommendations in Bora Bora and Mo’orea (10 nights – 5 nights each) — is $7k a doable budget?

Hey everyone. My fiance and I are planning a may 2025 honeymoon for 10 days. 5 on moorea and 5 on bora bora. Our initial budget was $5k but we received $3k from an engagement party my parents threw for us. We decided our hotel budget will be $7k and we’ll use the last $1k as spending money during the trip. I have credit card points to buy our flights round trip. I’m wondering, does anyone have any hotel recommendations to keep it under $7k for 10 nights? The hotels seem so expensive and I’m wondering if it’s even doable. Overwater bungalows would be nice, but we’re totally OK with forgoing those. We want the rooms to be nice and not the super low end. I guess mid level luxury would be great. Thanks all in advance!
