My FH and I are planning a honeymoon in Italy for this July. Here's what we have planned: Fly in to Genoa, rent a car and drive to Camogli. Stay there for about a week. Then drive along the coast to Naples, and spend 2 nights in Naples, exploring and eating pizza. Then drive across to Puglia and stay in an agriturismo type farm B&B in the Gargano peninsula for 5 days. Then drive back to Rome and fly home. Thoughts? Does this sound reasonable/doable? Does anyone have experience with any of these places and recommendations? We've both been to Italy before, which is why we're skipping the big cities and museum/history type things (expect in Naples), and are looking mainly for beaches, delicious food, and maybe some hiking if it's not too hot. I'd love off- the beaten path recommendations as well! Thanks!! <3
