Italy may 2021 flight advice

Hi all, my fiancé and I are planning on going to Italy for our honeymoon next May. I know that it may get canceled due to COVID but m optimistic. My question is when is the best time to start looking at flights? I’ve read some places that it’s as soon as possible and others say around 6 weeks out from departure date. Trying to get the best price I can for the flight. Any help would be great! Thanks in advance
