January 2020 Honeymoon – would love your input!

Hi all – we are soon to be newlyweds in California and are having a tough time deciding on where to go for a 2-3 week honeymoon in January 2020! We're looking for a mix of adventure, culture and R&R. I've traveled pretty extensively and I really want to go somewhere that's new to both of us. I was leaning towards Portugal and Morocco but my fiancé isn't as into it because he doesn't think it'll be very relaxing. We then started exploring Indonesia but I'm concerned it's not the right time to go because it's the rainy season. Does anyone have any advice for us or personal experiences somewhere that'll help in our search? We'd like to start planning soon as to avoid high air costs.
