January – between Ireland and Italy?

Fiancé and I are currently trying to get an idea of what we want for the honeymoon. Two weeks – from 1/26-2/9. Of 2020.

We’re thinking Ireland or Italy. Neither of us has ever been to either.

While we’ve heard both are beautiful, we’re really wanting somewhere with things to do and see of course, but also with the opportunity to relax and not have to be touring/traveling every day to be able to see everything.

Anyone have personal experience or recommendations/suggestions they’d like to share? Appreciated!
