January Honeymoon for $6k – tell me where to go

My fiancé and I are currently planning our January 2023 honeymoon following our NYE wedding. Our budget is about $6,000 and we have 125,000 Amex points and 150,000 Delta SkyMiles to use for the trip if needed.

We’re flying out of Chicago (ORD) and would prefer Delta. We would like to leave on January 2nd. We would ideally like this to be a 6-8 night trip, but are flexible up to 12 nights depending on the location.

In terms of what we’re looking for- truly anything! We want a unique experience that isn’t found by going to a cookie cutter all-inclusive resort in Cancun. We’ve already done many places in the Caribbean, but if you can recommend a unique, luxury option- we’re all ears! Some places I’ve been researching include Costa Rica, Canary Islands and Cape Town South Africa, just to name a few.
