Hi, I’m looking for personal opinions and suggestions! My finance and I are getting married on a Tuesday in Las Vegas in May of next year. We’re planning to fly in on Monday morning to pick up our marriage license and explore, get married on Tuesday, and then enjoy vacation until Sunday when we will have to fly back home. We have discussed various options that include staying in Vegas for the week and taking day trips to places like the Grand Canyon, or driving to Yosemite, driving to Lake Tahoe, or even to LA. We have both been to LA previously so I think we would rather go somewhere new but keeping an open mind. We don’t have a specific budget in mind but we are trying to keep costs to a reasonable price if possible. Basically looking for ways to make the most of our time for the best deal. I know there’s a ton of stuff to do in Vegas but not sure if a week would be too much or expensive after more than a few days. I’ve never been to Yosemite or Lake Tahoe but it seems like a fun trip. If you recommend one of these places, what do you recommend doing there? I don’t think we will have time to drive to both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe so we would have to chose one or the other or just stay in Vegas for the week. Any suggestions or input would be helpful, I feel like it’s been stressful trying to plan a trip with so many options and I don’t want to make the wrong choice and choose to spend our honeymoon stressed or not enjoying our trip. We love to do a range of things and are open to suggestions! TIA!
