Late October honeymoon advice

Hi all, We’re getting married october 19th and still have to decide on where to go on our 2-weeks honeymoon. We’re from Italy so that’s not an option 😂

My future wife is strongly oriented towards the Maldives option, but I’m not convinced for two reasons: – it would still be rain season – I’m afraid I would get bored after the first few days. I’m not into extreme sports or risky stuff but I don’t want to lay on a beach all day long as well!

My favorite option was Japan, but it is too distant from my wife “super chill, tropical place” idea of the honeymoon. I am quite keen on either finds a place that as everything, or do 1 week in the tropical place and 1 week in another more “culture/activities” related one. We also though about:

Morocco Greece Hawaii Egypt Madagascar Fiji isles French Polinesia Dominican Republic Seychelles isles Mauritius isles

Do you have any suggestion about possible locations that has both this “relaxing beaches” aspect but also something else to actually do, visit etc? Or any suggestion about two comfortable combinations?
