Some general info:
- Aged 32 & 31
- Flying out of Vancouver, BC, Canada
- Prefer to go to a busy resort
- Adults only if possible
- Would be great if the resort had a pool table
- Neither of us are into anything super fancy
- 5 to 7 days long
- Some time between January-March 2022
Since it is our honeymoon, we wanted to mix it up a bit so we were thinking about going on a Cruise (neither of us had ever been on one). However, after doing extensive research, we realized that sticking with an all inclusive resort made much more sense for us. We have been to Mexico twice (Cancun – Riu and Iberostar) and both times were amazing. We stayed at the resort pretty much the whole time aside from walking around at some businesses nearby. Since we enjoyed Mexico so much, I am not sure if it's worth mixing it up just because it's our honeymoon (e.g. going to Jamaica, the Bahamas, or the Dominican Republic). I feel that we may be forcing a change when it's not needed (similar to how we were going to book a cruise). However, that being said, I am not ruling out other countries.
Mexico wise, I looked at Le Blanc but we're not really the type of people who enjoy perks such as a butler, and I'm not sure if we would mingle well with the crowd there. Hard Rock is more of our vibe, but my wife went there recently so we don't want to go there again. Right now, the top choice seems to be Hilton Playa del Carmen. It is adults only, looks nice, has a pool table, and is in a convenient location.
Any suggestions or help would be much appreciated and I am more than happy to answer questions 🙂
Thanks in advance!
